About the role In order to help Cochlear plan and execute regional training strategies with focus on surgical training on Cochlear Implant and Baha products within the Cochlear US Sales Teams, we are recruiting for a fieldRegional Surgical Training Manager in the West Region. The ideal candidate will live in the Denver metro area, but we are also open to candidates living in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Seattle. To be successful in this role you ll be able to identify what surgical training requirements are necessary for effective product launches and develop plans to coordinate physician and employee training programs. You ll work collaboratively with the sales team, customer care, marketing, and clinical services to ensure appropriate content, implementation, and delivery of all training to the field and customers. This technical training role is responsible for ensuring surgical expertise of Baha and Cochlear Implant products to all field staff in the designated region(s) by identifying development needs and executing surgical training to strengthen surgical technical staff expertise. You will also evaluate and report on competencies to ensure that all clinical sales staff have the necessary product knowledge and proficiency to support Cochlear s professional partners. In this role you ll have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to Cochlear s successful history of innovation by applying your knowledge of medical device sales and surgical operating room experience. You ll know you ve been successful in this role when you ve created and implemented a successful training strategy for success and growth within your assigned region.
